# BuildYourPrint (Calc2Print)

> BuildYourPrint is the first real web-to-print system: an online print shop where customers configure print jobs, see a price calculated from the shop’s own papers, presses and finishing, and order 24/7. Versions ganged on the sheet, a calculated imposition, a page builder and orders that arrive ready to print.

BuildYourPrint (also known as Calc2Print) is web-to-print, print estimating, imposition and JDF 1.6 software built specifically for commercial print shops (digital, sheetfed offset, large format, books/binding, and packaging). Instead of maintaining static CSV/Excel price lookup tables, a print shop enters its papers, presses, finishing machines, packaging and couriers as production parameters. Every product is a live calculator built on those parameters. Customers configure a print job on the shop's own domain, see a price calculated from the real sheet and press in ~0.1 seconds, upload PDFs and pay online. Orders arrive on an order board with preflighted files, sheet imposition (recto/verso, katernen, fold schemes, cut plans) and, on the Enterprise tier, a CIP4-compliant JDF 1.6 job ticket for the press.
